Without sounding too maudlin, our counties share a quiet, sacred bond. We planted a bunch of Liberation75 tulips in our front garden to support the cause.

I should find some to plant in our garden once it warms up...still pretty chilly here right now. We see a lot of German, Austrian and often Dutch tourists here in the summer months with there isn’t COVID...

Didn’t know there was a particular connection between the two countries for that reason. Rather an ugly period in the low countries worth commemorating ending without too much remembering.
